Atul Bhargava

  • Dr Atul Bhargava has over 25 years consulting and research experience in the area of fire risk and fire safety engineering. Combining his undergraduate qualifications in Chemical and Process engineering and a PhD with research in fire safety with his fire engineering and fire risk experience in building and industrial projects, Atul is able to provide advice on all aspects of fire safety engineering and fire risk reviews in general building, industrial and infrastructure facilities. Atul is a Chartered member of Engineers Australia and also a Registered Fire Safety Engineer in NSW (Fair Trading), Victoria (VBA) and Queensland (RPEQ). He has good working relationship with approval authorities including Fire Brigade in a number of Australian States. Atul is also an executive member of the NSW Chapter committee of the Society of Fire Safety.

Rob Taylor

  • Rob, has over 25 years of expertise in building regulations and fire safety design as a Director of Fire Engineering Professionals Pty Ltd. Specialising in performance-based fire-safety design, Rob develops Innovative Performance Solutions that meet the highest safety standards. With extensive experience in critical risk assessments, he ensures the safety of our clients' projects. As an Accredited Certifier in building services and fire safety, Rob is able to provide best practice fire safety design for all building classifications to meet the relevant building regulations. His leadership and expertise make him an invaluable asset to our team, delivering outstanding results.

Daniel Burgess

  • Daniel, has over 10 years of experience in the field of fire safety engineering and has worked on a broad range of projects. As a Fire Engineering Manager Daniel oversees recruitment, business operations, and project management within the company. With a strong understanding of fire engineering principles and asset protection, Daniel is able to provide tailored solutions for all types of building developments. Daniel has strong interest in computational modelling and in analysing buildings using tools including CFD and occupant modelling software. Daniel is also experienced in undertaking fire risk assessments in the industrial and mining sector. Daniel's leadership and versatility makes him a valuable asset to our team.

Julian Nguyen

  • Julian, has over five years of fire engineering experience working on projects with various levels of complexity. Julian is the company’s technical lead in a number of emerging areas of fire safety engineering. He ensures that the fire engineering team is up to date with their technical skills and their understanding of current research in fire safety. Julian is also responsible for disseminating information to interns and junior engineers during their internship and development within the company.

Nick Felstead

  • Nick brings over six years of fire safety engineering experience with a strong understanding of fire safety engineering practices and the operation of fire protection systems. Nick has expertise in a variety of computational modelling software and is experienced in fire engineering report writing. Nick is the main liaison for building facilities managers and assists them with review of fire matrix and SIT testing. Nick has extensive experience with inspections and on-site testing of fire safety systems for medium to large buildings.

John Mok

  • John has had involvements in a number of fire engineering projects since the commencement of his employment with the company. This includes using Pyrosim CFD and Pathfinder Egress models to analyse and assist with the development of Performance Solutions.

  • Kenneth has had involvements in a number of fire engineering projects since the commencement of his employment with the company. This includes using Pyrosim CFD and Pathfinder Egress models to analyse and assist with the development of Performance Solutions.
